Painting my houseplants was the perfect way to practice letting go of precision and control to allow the medium to act as a collaborator with me. To allow the paints to mix on the page in wet on wet applications results in imperfect yet beautiful results. I have returned to physical paints in my practice because, in the age of AI, the human touch becomes ever more valuable.
