Pet Portrait Commission

I am so excited to work with you on your pet portrait commission. Let’s get started.

Send 3-5 photos.
Photos should be clear, naturally lit, and high-quality for best results. One or two photos will become the primary reference for the pose and representation of your pet.

Tell me about your pet.
Your pet has a unique personality. Knowing about Mitzy the cat’s affinity for walks, or how Spot’s tongue hangs out when he’s feeling happy helps my artistic process.

Confirm the medium.
Do you want a watercolour portrait or a digital one?

Communicate your vision.
What are your preferences for the following?

  • background colour likes/dislikes

  • pose (upright, laying down, etc)

  • primary reference photo

Have any questions? Just ask!

I’ve sent my message. What happens next?
I will respond to your commission request within 3–5 business days with a quote, work-plan, and estimated timeline.

Once you approve the quote, you’ll receive a contract and invoice for the deposit. I’ll begin your portrait after the contract is signed and the deposit received.

How long will my portrait take?
I put time and care into each portrait I create. I strive to complete portraits within 3 weeks of initial deposit, however it may take up to 6 weeks to complete the artwork depending on demand and portrait complexity.

*Please note, shipping time for physical items is additional.*
